A journalist from the Zoomer portal was physically pushed away by a member of the police following a protest by students and citizens on May 23, 2026 in Belgrade.

While she was performing her journalistic work and filming the police action against the citizens, at the moment when the police knocked a citizen to the ground and took them into custody in the street of Kralja Milan, one of the masked members of the police rudely pushed the journalist away and hit her with a shield, in order to prevent her from filming the police action.

Fortunately, the journalist was not injured, and the police officers were no longer aggressive towards the journalist and her colleagues.

The case was not reported.
