Photojournalist Relja Jarkovački was harassed in New Belgrade by members of the police brigade for photographing the police.
Most likely, the head of the unit stopped the journalist after he saw him photographing the police unit that was set up and almost hidden in the confusion and trees between the buildings, tore his press ID from his door and accused him of not being a journalist and not being allowed to film police officers.
Jarkovački was clearly and visibly marked, with identification and in a PRESS vest. The journalist was also asked for an identity card and after identification, the policeman returned the identity card to the journalist.
