On the evening of September 1, the head of the police unit approached the journalist and photojournalist of the Beta agency Bozidar Milovac in Novi Sad near the university camp and violently snatched the phone from his hand.

Milovac was asked to identify himself and show his journalist ID, which he did. In addition to the press vest, journalists were also required to have a prominent identification card. After the conversation and identification, the policeman returned the telephone to the journalist.

Milovac made a video of the police standing in the cordon a few moments before, and it is assumed that this video is the reason for the policeman’s approach and reaction.
