Nenad Nešović, editor of the Čačak-based N2 portal, was hit in the shoulder by journalist Gvozden Nikolić, owner of the Glas Zapadne Srbije portal. Nešović reported the incident to the police.
Nešović told NUNS that he was following a rally in Čačak and that he was on his way to another location when he met Nikolić.
“I was walking in the middle of the road because the street was closed to traffic, and when he saw me, he crossed to the middle and headed straight towards me. When he reached me, he hit me with his left shoulder. At that moment, his son said, ‘Is this the one who sued us, let me remember him’ and they continued their journey. When I finished reporting, in the evening I went to the police and reported it, after which I went to the emergency room. They sent me to orthopedics where it was determined that I had a contusion of my left shoulder,” Nešović said.
Gvozden Nikolić denied that the incident had occurred. In his response to the media, he stated that he did not know Nešović and had never met him.
