After photojournalist Luka Pešić and other students were detained at the end of a protest held in Belgrade, citizens gathered in front of the police station on Majke Jevrosime Street to express their dissatisfaction with the actions of the police. On that occasion, a police officer asked photojournalist Gavrilo Andrić for his ID and proceeded to check his identity without providing specific reasons, simply because he was reporting from the gathering in support of the arrested students.
