Photojournalist Gavrilo Andrić was twice obstructed by the police while trying to record the events during the protest in Belgrade on February 16, 2026. year.

During the evening, while Andrić was filming the actions of the police during the arrest of the demonstrators, a member of the Gendarmerie physically assaulted him. When the photojournalist introduced himself as a journalist, the policeman walked away, and after Andrić asked for his ID, the policeman cursed him. We emphasize that on the videos from the protest, it is heard that police officers uttered the most vulgar curses during the intervention and arrest of citizens.
