Freelance journalist and photojournalist Marko Dragoslavić was physically attacked on June 24, 2026, while reporting, as he claimed, from an illegal construction site on Milana Rakića Street in Belgrade.

Dragoslavić reported the case to the police.

As the journalist pointed out in his statement to the police, while he was filming a plot of land for which construction work had not yet been officially approved, an unknown person with long gray hair, a beard, and a mustache approached him from behind and punched him several times in the head. Although, as he says, he mentioned that he was a journalist, the attacker said that it “hurts like hell” and that he would kill him.
