    The police physically assaulted the journalist. A police officer first knocked him to the ground and hit the phone out of his hand. Afterwards, members of the intervention unit continued to beat him and forcibly remove him from the scene. A procedure has been initiated before the Internal Control Sector of the Ministry of Interior.

In Zaječar, on October 11, police officers physically assaulted Glas Zaječara journalist Miljko Stojanović while he was reporting from a protest organized by supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), knocking him to the ground and hitting the phone out of his hand. His colleague Anđela Risantijević, who tried to protect him, was also pushed away. When Stojanović attempted to report the attack to Police Chief Igor Jeftić, Jeftić allegedly grabbed his phone, after which members of the intervention unit continued to beat him and forcibly remove him from the scene.
