In Novi Sad on February 16, a group of journalists from Reuters, Odjek and Storyteller were attacked, pushed and exposed to aggression.

All of them were visibly marked with journalistic insignia.

Of particular concern is the fact that the attack took place in the presence of the police, with the absence of a timely and effective reaction.

In the period from March to the end of last year, he recorded 77 cases of attacks and harassment of journalists in the presence of the police, in which the police did not react adequately, passively observed the events, and in some cases even participated in attacks on journalists themselves. Unfortunately, this case shows that such a trend continues.
