To the program director of the Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina (Nezavisno udruženje novinara Vojvodine – NDNV) and university professor Dinko Gruhonjić, the president of the Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, last night made serious accusations. Vučević stated that the alleged “attacks by the University of Novi Sad professor Dinko Gruhonjić on the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, are attacks on the constitutional order and the independence of Serbia.”
This statement came shortly after the publication of Dinko Gruhonjić’s interview on the Sarajevo-based portal Slobodna Bosna.
Such statements by public officials are unacceptable in a democratic society and seriously endanger Gruhonjić’s safety.
