During the meeting of the Serbian Progressive Party on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Belgrade, three photojournalists Gavrilo Andrić, Nađa Gavrilović and Marija Stojnić were taken to the Savski Venac police station, after documenting the action of developing the banner “Students fight for you too”.

The photojournalists were previously attacked by an unknown person when they entered the building where the banner was hung, for the purpose of further documentation, but the incident ended without serious consequences.

After leaving the building, they were detained by police officers, who were informed in detail about the sequence of events they found in the building. As a result of the police assessment, without a clearly communicated legal basis, they were taken to the Savski Venac Police Station, from where they were released after a few hours without giving a statement.
