The Emblema Association, the publisher of the Far portal, received an email on November 15, 2025, in which a person who introduced himself as Rastko Zlatić addressed the editor Slavisa Milanov directly.
In the message, he makes serious and unfounded accusations, claiming to have “evidence” of the alleged attempted murder and announcing the filing of a lawsuit. At the same time, he makes claims about the alleged involvement of the FBI and the arrest of third parties, along with threats of imprisonment, financial compensation and confiscation of property. The message contains pressures for Milanov to “come forward for a deal”, as well as threats of alleged arrest by the police in Serbia and Bulgaria.
Considering the content, tone and manner of addressing, the editorial office considers the message a threat directed towards Slavisa Milanov. The manner of speaking, the unfounded accusations and the pressure directed at the journalist were understood as a direct threat to his safety.
The threat was reported to the competent special public prosecution for VTK.
