During the protest in Surdulica on February 14, sexist insults were directed at journalist Dejana Cvetković, she was publicly called names, warned that individuals have her phone number, and her profile was shared in a controversial Viber group of citizens that shares information about events from Surdulica, which referred to the journalist’s lynching.

This kind of behavior represents unacceptable pressure and an attempt to intimidate the journalist because of her professional work.

The police in Surdulica and Vranje were informed about the case.
