The report presents a three-month monitoring exercise (March–May 2026) on hate speech and harmful discourse in Kosovo’s media environment. A total of 138 cases were identified, with most related to political and ideological discourse (71.7%), often involving attacks and delegitimization of political opponents. Albanian-language media accounted for most cases, while Serbian-language media more often featured narratives of insecurity and collective victimization. The report also highlights the role of social media in amplifying polarizing content and finds that most cases fall into low to moderate severity levels, though some high-severity cases still exist.
