A resident of Nikšić verbally insulted a group of journalists who were reporting on a double homicide in the city.

Reporting crews from TV Vijesti and Adria, RTV Nikšić and the local public broadcaster’s news portal, as well as the daily Dan, arrived in front of the residential building where the double murder had occurred.

Upon their arrival, an unidentified man began insulting them, saying, “Have you arrived, vultures? It’s all your fault.” Some of the journalists attempted to de-escalate the situation, but the man from Nikšić continued to hurl insults before leaving the building, accusing a cameraman — who had been standing to the side — of blocking his way out.

TV Vijesti journalist Željko Vuksanović, with the agreement of the other journalists present, reported the incident to the police. He requested that no proceedings be initiated against the man from Nikšić, but that he only be issued a warning.
