The editorial office of TV N1 was brutally threatened in a letter that arrived by post on 11.07.2025. year. The letter was sent from Belgrade from the post office located in Vračar.
The threat reads as follows:
..To the editors of N1 tv
As a sincere Serbian patriot, I would like to address you in this way
with a request to stop the anti-Spera harassment and inciting propaganda,
because it offends the patriotic feelings of the Serbian people. If you are uncomfortable here
or you feel unlucky to be born as a Serb, and not as some, “endowed” you can
feel free to change your name, surname, place of residence, religion, etc.
If you remember, Charlie Hebdo’s humorous satirical newspaper played and joked with the feelings of believers of the Muslim religion in 2015.
As Rade Šerbedžija says in one of his recitations,
“What was your name, dear neighbor,
Emma, Selma, Alma, Adela and
has anything changed yours
eyes, face and belly”
It could also be said like this
what were your names Danica, Žaklina, Maja, Nataša, Ivana…
and will it change your eyes, face, and belly…
patriotic salute
The threats were reported to the competent Third Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, which acted immediately and ordered the police to act. The police very quickly took the letter in the premises of N1 and continued further actions.
