The Albanian Journalists’ Association (AGSH) and journalist Isa Myzyraj were subjected to a derogatory and homophobic article published shortly after AGSH intensified its efforts to document and raise awareness about the Focus Media Group case. The publication used discriminatory language and personal attacks, aiming to discredit their work and intimidate those defending press freedom in Albania.

A formal complaint was filed with the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination, highlighting the discriminatory nature of the article and requesting that the institution take appropriate measures, including a public condemnation.
