At the blockade of the Miloš Veliki highway near Lazarevac, TV N1 crew journalist Nenad Nešić and cameraman Aleksandar Cvrkotić, while they were reporting on the live program, were attacked by a member of the Gendarmerie who aggressively pushed Cvrkotić away with both hands, even though he was already outside the highway. Previously, the N1 team obeyed the request of the Gendarmerie without question to remove itself from the area of the highway. The policeman without any markings became particularly aggressive when, at the moment of pushing away, the cameraman turned the camera towards him, so he began to pull the camera out of his hands, but after snatching it away from the cameraman, he did not succeed in the end. After that he turned and left.

Although the attack was not reported, N1 asked the police to reveal to the MUP the identity and official ID of the police officer who tried to steal the N1 cameraman’s camera.

A complaint has been filed regarding the conduct of a police officer to the Internal Control Sector of the Ministry of the Interior.
