On January 19, a fake Instagram account of the weekly Radar appeared. This occurred one day after the official Instagram account of the weekly had been shut down as part of a mass bot attack.

The fake account used the outlet’s official logo, and it posted articles and content previously published by Radar. However, it is not known who is behind this fake account.
