Miljko Stojanović, journalist of the local portal Glas Zaječara, is again the target of misdemeanor charges. Namely, the journalist received a summons from the Misdemeanor Court for hearings as a defendant on April 28 after the Zaječar Police Department sent requests to the Misdemeanor Court to initiate misdemeanor proceedings for violating the Law on Public Assembly.

The application states that Stojanović allegedly organized unannounced rallies on July 1 and 9, 2025, in front of the Police Administration building in Zaječar. However, on those occasions, the journalist attended the event as a journalist reporting on an event of public interest.
