Photojournalist Marko Dragoslavić has received threats and was prevented from carrying out his work.
According to Dragoslavić, the incident occurred while he was photographing a construction site in the Stepin Lug forest, where, he claims, construction continued despite a ban imposed by the construction inspection authorities.
Dragoslavić told NUNS that he was wearing a clearly visible “press” vest and a visible journalist identification card, and that he introduced himself to the workers at the site. They then told him that he had to speak with the investor, whom they contacted by phone. When the journalist explained to the investor why he was there, the investor allegedly told him: “I’m coming now, and then you’ll see.” After that, one of the workers reportedly told him that it would be better for him to run away so that he would not be killed.
The case has been reported to the competent prosecutor’s office.
