News portal Standard’s journalist Kristina Perković reported serious death threats and insults to the police after receiving threatening messages on 23 May via the Instagram account “NIKOLA BATUTA NOVI PROFIL859561”, which also targeted members of her family.

In her report, she stated that comments containing offensive language and threats directed at both her and her family were posted beneath a photograph she had shared on 21 May, including the message: *“Where are those children so I can ***… they will be eating your bones when I slaughter you.”

On 27 May, the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor announced that D.O. (29), from Tivat, had been arrested on reasonable suspicion of committing two criminal offences of endangering security, to the detriment of Perković and S.B.
