On January 24, 2026, in the afternoon hours, an incident occurred in which journalist and photojournalist Luka Pešić was subjected to threats. The incident took place on the sidewalk in front of Pionirski Park in Belgrade, directly across from the National Assembly.

At the time, Luka Pešić was filming and photographing the area behind the fenced section of the camp in Pionirski Park when at least two individuals—a man and a woman—approached him. According to his testimony and video footage, they verbally threatened and harassed him. In the recording, one person can be heard threatening Pešić and his colleagues, saying that they would find all of them and that “we’ll see about that.”

NUNS reported the case to the competent public prosecutor’s office.
