The journalist of the SO info portal from Sombor, Sava Majstorov, was the target of verbal attacks and explicit death threats while reporting from protests and civil blockades in that city.

According to the testimony of the injured journalist, the incident occurred when he got out of the car and accidentally touched the door of another vehicle, which caused a violent reaction from a group from a nearby cafe. That group also included representatives of the Serbian Progressive Party. Although Majstorov clearly presented himself as a journalist on assignment, this did not prevent a series of insults and open threats, including the sentences: “I will kill you” and “I will slaughter you.”

Majstorov immediately reported the case to the police officers who were present at the blockade and they later took the statements of all the participants of this event.
