On January 17, two threats were sent to Igor Velić from the CarDusanNajveci account on the X social network: “YOU SHOULD BE ELIMINATED WITH A 12.7 PIPE, I WILL BURNT YOUR MOTHER, SYPTAR TALIBAN TERRORIST” and “you are a Gestapo member and should be eliminated like all Nazis and Gestapo members who were mercilessly eliminated underground, I will shoot your mother as a terrorist Gestapo”.

Also, a threat was sent to him on the Facebook page “Borani se pitaju”, by the account user Mirko Djekanovic, in which it is stated: “You should be f*cked first and then killed…hehh”.

NUNS warns that these are extremely serious threats that represent a serious crime and an open call to violence, with a real danger of escalating into actual violence. It is particularly alarming that the threats include explicit calls for murder, which further increases the risk and fosters an atmosphere of lynching.

The threats were reported to the competent public prosecutor’s office.
