During the protest of the demobilized fighters of the Army of BiH in front of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one of the participants in the protest – Esma Turulja, attacked the reporter of the portal Klix with a metal bullet, inflicting minor injuries on him, then clashed with a cameraman Al Jazeera Balkans who tried to protect his colleague and continued insulting and verbally attacking other press teams that followed the Sarajevo protests.
UPDATE: The trial against Emila Hamzić (aka Esma Turulja) and Suad Lelo started in June 2019. at Municipal Court in Sarajevo. They are indicted for violent behaviour.
On May 11th 2020, Hamzić and Lelo were found guilty of the criminal offense of violent behavior.
They were sentenced to a probation prison sentence of six months each.
