In middle of March 2014, during his stay in Belgrade, Serbia, journalist Margetić was warned by important member of Croatian criminal underground that “there was payment laid for his assasination, but he did not know to who and in what way”. He said he came “to warn the journalist as he heard the information”. As he did not give any more details, the journalist disregarded the information and did not report on it after returning to Croatia.
