1.8.2023. – Journalist of the daily newspaper Danas, Vojin Radovanović, received a death threat on Instagram. Radovanović received a comment on a story on Instagram in which he published a statement from the Association of Serbian Journalists about the attack on him by an unknown person that happened at the end of June. The UNS statement states that a month has passed since the attack, and the police have not interviewed the proposed witness. As a reaction to this story, a message was sent to Radovanović from the order of selidbeiprevozz: “You should be killed for the example you are.”
With defendant L.B. a plea agreement was concluded by which the defendant admitted to committing the crime of endangering security from Art. 138 st. 3 in connection with para. 1 of the CC and agreed to be sentenced to a suspended sentence, in which a prison sentence of one year will be determined, which will not be carried out if the defendant does not commit a new criminal offense during the probation period of three years, as well as to be imposed security measures. Prohibition of approaching and communicating with the injured party from Art. 89 CC and Confiscation of cases from Art. 87 CC”, UNS was told.
This agreement became legally binding on 25.12.2023. year after the decision of the competent court
