“Večernje novosti” published texts by journalist Jelena Skenderija about the humanitarian action of the organization “28th June” to collect funds for the treatment of a boy. In the texts, it is stated that this organization donated 200,000 dinars for the boy to the University Children’s Clinic in Tiršov, although the treatment of children is free, and as proof is the contract with the clinic, on which the seal and signature of the director of the institution were omitted.
After that, the journalist received a series of threats in comments on social networks and in messages. Some of those threats are: “All that sh**, that say anything against the organization should be passed well through the fists…”, “Live your miserable life, but you will come to the truth one day. Be sure of that”, “The time will come for you all to hang, bast**ds”, and others. The organization “28th June” denied everything published by Novosti and announced that they would initiate legal proceedings against this paper.
