The journalist and cameraman of Gradska TV were verbally attacked on April 10, 2022 by the nephew and brothers of the president of the Municipality of Budva while they were on a work assignment.
They were filming a feature about a wild landfill near the Platac quarry when S.C. started getting in the face of journalist Dubravka Perović, insulting her and shouting at her, and he forbade cameraman Hari Marković to film.
It was announced with the Police Administration that the case was not reported by the injured parties, and that they took actions within their jurisdiction when they learned about this event, as well as that in cooperation with the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kotor, they are working on its clarification.
The competent prosecutor announced that there were no elements of a criminal offense in the acts, while the police filed misdemeanor charges against the persons involved.
At the end of July 2023, the Court for Minor Offenses in Budva sentenced S.C. with a fine in the amount of 350 euros.
