On February 1, 2022, the journalist of the NGO Centre for Democratic Transition, Goran Delić, received a call via the “Viber” application from a foreign number, during which threats were sent to him.
On the same day, Delić reported the case to the Security Center in Nikđšić. The prosecutor stated that it was a criminal act of endangering security.
As the Police Directorate told the top the Trade Union of Media of Montenegro in January 2023, “police prosecutorial activities are underway, together with international partners, with the aim of identifying the user – the owner of the disputed foreign number from which the threats were sent, and taking other measures and actions for clarification and prosecution event”.
