Nikšić Mayor Marko Kovačević filed a criminal complaint against Pobjeda editor-in-chief Draško Đuranović, Vijesti journalist and director of digital development Biljana Matijašević and Srdan Kosović, and Aktuelno portal journalist Balša Knežević. In addition to them, criminal charges were filed against several politicians, the owner of the Aktuelno portal and a representative of an NGO. In the criminal reports, Kovačević identified 13 people as the instigators of the threats he received on social networks, which put his safety and that of his family at risk.
The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Nikšić announced that police data collection is underway, after which it will be decided whether a case will be opened.
