Vijesti journalist Siniša Luković was threatened and insulted by several anonymous profiles on the social network Facebook, and the threats followed after he published the article “Sharrowing of Split and the role of Dragan Samardžić”.
The Kotor Prosecutor’s Office opened a case based on his report and assessed that it was a criminal act of endangering security. The Prosecutor’s Office ordered the Police Directorate to determine who is behind the Facebook profile “Grandfather Committee”, from which Luković received threats, including: “You should know that you will not have Chetnik protection forever, because the Chetniks’ days in Montenegro are numbered.” The user of that profile accused the journalist of “slandering honest Montenegrins”, and then insulted him by writing numerous insults.
Luković reported those threats and insults, and told the inspectors in Tivat that he suspected that the person who wrote them was in some way close or connected to retired admiral Dragan Samardžić, which Samardžić denied.
