On April 14, two women entered the premises of Faktor.ba, threatening and cursing at employees, dissatisfied with an article about arson and shooting by unknown persons in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Vraca, which happened the night before. They demanded that the article be removed, which the editorial staff refused. Exiting the newsroom, one of the women pointed a finger at a female journalist, saying: “I remember you well, I’ll see you on the street.” Shortly after, Faktor.ba received a phone call from the man they were writing about, also requesting to remove the article. This person, known to police as a convicted felon for multiple offenses, threatened to come with his lawyer to the Factor’s premises.
