The journalist of the Mašina portal (Machine), Jelena Lalatović, was given disgusting threats after comparative gatherings of groups on the topic for and against migrants were held in Belgrade.
The journalist first participated in the gathering on that day and, together with her colleague, wrote a text on the topic of the migrant crisis and the attitude towards them in Serbia. After sharing a post on this topic on the social network Instagram, the journalist on October 25th received direct message with serious threat:
“Uhhh… how I like to step on the skull of some red whore like you.”
According to the journalist, the threat is a consequence of her participation in the gathering, preparation of the text and distribution of posts on the topic of protection of migrants.
The journalist reported the threat to the Special Prosecutor’s Office for High-Tech Crime in Belgrade.
