Insults and threats were sent to journalist Gorica Nikolin’s Instagram account, and because of her recently published text about the studios at the Petrovaradin Fortress, which are mostly used illegally. The messages were sent from the Instagram account kjuo958, and the direct reason was the journalist’s writing because the message itself contains a link to the text mentioned above.
The journalist was told from that profile that he “knows her from class”, along with a vulgar threat that he will “piss on her” and a number of other insults, and a video call was also attempted from the same account.
The case was immediately reported, the police and the prosecutor’s office reacted quickly. However, the suspect for the threats himself soon appeared at the police and admitted that he had sent those threats.
According to the latest official information from the prosecution, the proceedings are still ongoing.
