Index.hr journalist Hrvoje Bajlo received on October 19, 2017 at 00:31 a threatening email. The email said “watch out for yudex affairs” and “why do you write about mario pešut let him go it is better for you justice comes”. The e-mail was sent form the address pripazi@firemail.cc. That same night, at 5:15 in the morning, someone knocked on the window of Bajlo’s room, which was on the ground floor of the family house, what disturbed him. Bajlo reported the threat ti the police on October 19. A day before the threat, Bajlo published an article about the family violence of the HDZ Chief of Health and Social Care of the City of Zadar, Mario Pešut. A week later, on October 26, 2017, Bajlo again received a threatening e-mail from the same address, pripazi@freemail.cc, which said: “same again you are sending emails to the mayor again leave him you and your yugoportal you will have problems and darkness will swallow you”. He also reported this threat to the police and also pointed out that the person who wrote threats has the knowledge of the mayor’s emails.
