The AAK leader, and MP, Ramush Haradinaj, attacked today the media in Albania and Kosovo, calling them “mercenaries” and “sold out”, after his claims that they reported that he could be considered a candidate for President of Albania. Moreover, Haradinaj has accused the media of working “against the interests of Albania and Kosovo”.
Such language is threatening, denigrating, unacceptable, and endangering the safety of journalists.
AJK calls on Mr. Haradinaj and all political actors to direct their complaints about reporting to self-regulatory bodies and to refrain from insulting and threatening language.
