The comment on the European Commission’s 2017 Serbia Country Report, as well as the accompanying Alternative Report, is dealing with the issue of freedom of expression and media pluralism as fundamental prerequisites for Serbia’s democratisation. The comment has been compiled by the following organisations: Civic Initiatives, Balkan Investigating Reporting Network – BIRN Serbia, Independent Journalist Association of Serbia, PG Network, Educational Centre and Transparency Serbia.
