While photographing a mass of minors shouting “F a**t will not walk here” and “Kill fa**ts”, one of the protesters pushed the journalist from the local portal JugMedia Leskovac, Dragan Marinković, after which the journalist fell to the ground. While on the ground, he was kicked in the body. The case was immediately reported to police who responded quickly and secured the scene of the attack. Shortly afterwards, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Leskovac arrested a person on suspicion that he had committed the criminal offense of Violent Conduct, police said, namely that he physically assaulted Jugmedia portal journalist Dragan Marinkovic, who was slightly injured. Police said the suspect was taken to the prosecutor’s office.
